BioWe are Australians, seeing Australia. Aged 52 (Shelley) and 53 (David) we are both retired, and will be leaving on a trip at the end of January 09 travelling right around Australia. We have a Toyota Landcruiser 2004 V8 petrol 4 wheel drive, and a small Jayco poptop caravan. We have already done one trip in 2008 travelling from Gold Coast (where we live) as far as Cooktown, across to Darwin, Kakadu, Broome, back to Alice Spings, Uluru, The Olgas, Kings Canyon, then back East spending quite a bit of time on the East Coast of Qld, then back home to the Gold Coast. We did approx 24,000 kilometers.
This time the plan is to go slow, spend more time in places. We will head south first, heading back to Northern Western Australia, and Northern territory after the wet season.
This journal is to keep a record of our trip for ourselves (both a written record & photographic record) and for our friends and family that we leave behind.
